Hey, there. Some of you guys may have noticed my banner ad moved from below all my sidebar links to above it next to the comic.

While I understand that while the ad may prove to be a bit distracting, here’s my reasoning for moving it:

1) It looks better.

I’m going to be honest, having all of the links and such next to the comic has been bothering me for a while. It makes more sense for those links to be down near the blog & reading part of the site content.

Not to mention it forces you to scroll down and you know, read the stuff in the blog. Ha ha…I post down here…I do.

2) More fair to advertisers.

Advertising, while much more affordable on Project Wonderful, is expensive. People are paying good money to have their ads placed on sites. Even if I make the same money (aka my bids are all from campaigns) I know that if I was bidding, I’d like my ad to be seen. So, I’ve moved the more expensive ad to above the fold for better exposure.

And that’s my reasoning. I don’t think it should be too much of a problem and I like it better where it is now.
