Help! Call for Transcripts!
Hey everybody out there in reader-land! Some of you may have noticed that with the upgrade to the Beta of Webcomic 1.8, users can now submit transcripts for the comics! Why is this cool? Transcripts are searchable! Which means you can search for dialogue and the like.
So, I’m asking for your guys’ help! 
My goal is to get all of the previous WAM entries caught up. Currently, I’ve done the first ten. *cough* Yeah, not very far, I know. All i’m asking from you guys – is to submit a transcript if you feel like it. Heck, if you see your favorite strip is transcriptless, take a moment and write one out. It’ll take maybe three to five minutes. 
How to –
First off, I’d read through the first ten or so transcripts (the first ten strips of wam) that are already done to see what format I’d like. But here’s the basic rundown:
{ Meta Info, Like Titles }
[Action, descriptions, settings, etc. ]
< Sound Effects SFX >
Charater Name: Dialogue
And that’s all there is to it. 
So, if you feel up to it – write a transcript, fill out the form and send it off~ I’ll put them up as soon as I can to prevent duplicates. Thanks for the help!

Hang on… are you talking about something that is integrable into the background scripting of the website, or are you just talking about a transcript using the above format? (One I can do. The other I can’t.)
Just a transcript using the above format. As in a script of the comic.
Mike’s actually sent me three; but I still haven’t added them. I need to do that. XD

So the meta-info obviously only occurs once. But the other three repeat for every panel, yes?
Yup; The first ten or so are done. If you go to their page and click ‘view transcript’ you can see some finished examples.

Though, I tried to submit some via the form, but kept getting a “human validation check failed” error. What’s that supposed to mean? Do I really have to type it all out in the box, instead of copying and pasting from a word document?
Hrm; I think i know what’s wrong. XD I’ll ask Mike to fix it later.
I beta test so I think we forgot to update the form with the validation box. There’s supposed to be a spam-protection box (where you answer an easy question to prove you’re human).

Ah. I see. XD I thought it might have been a timed thing, and I wasn’t taking long enough to fill out the transcript box.

Awesome. XD Though, if you finish a bunch you can just send me a single e-mail with all of them. I’ll know which goes with which from the meta data.

Uh, possibly another problem, Liliy: I’m putting in the sound effects that you write, but they’re not showing up in the angle brackets of the viewable transcript. Given that angle brackets are commonly used in GU-interface scripting, I’m wondering if they’re disappearing automatically as part of a mis-parsed XML thing or if you’re removing them. Help?
I think t hey’re getting removed b/c they look like html. I had found a way to fix that but I think I forgot to do it. Heh. *goes to fix*

Yeah. Needed a space between the word and the brackets -l ike so < sfx >.
