Its’ been a while since artwork has jumped out and grabbed me, but when I saw a small clip of Eva’s face from Not Enough BBQ I had to click it. And I’m glad I did. Not only is the artwork clean and crisp, but the drawing style is unique and I love how Shaina draws her character’s eyes.

As for the strip itself, it’s got an amusing dry wit to it that’s, well - amusing. Berk’s a cutie, too. Point is – comic made me chuckle and I recommend you guys check it out. Plus the archive is relatively small right now, so this would be a good time to go check things out and get into the fun from the beginning without having to reread through hundreds of comics to catch up.

And this comic has a Chaise Lounge. You can’t tell me that’s not awesome.

Emergency Exit by NJ Huff

Currently I’m about 130~ strips into a comic that has around 900+ strips to date. So I’m not really far enough into it to really give a proper review – but I can say I’m enjoying it. There’s something very nice about the combination of a random crazy guy and his normal, sensible roommate that’s always appealing. And I do plan on trucking through to catch up.

So, why don’t you all drop by and join me. XD We’ll all be behind together! Mwa ha ha ha.

But seriously; it’s good stuff – go check it out.

Zombies, evil personas, and chicks with axes. What more could you want?

Jazz and Jess is a story about a boy named Jazz who kills Zombies by night (with his favorite lady Jess) and ends up making them by day! It’s never a good thing when you realize your boss is your evil persona (whom you thought was just in your head) and that you work for a company that makes zombies. The same zombies you work so hard to destroy every night. It’s an interesting cycle to be sure.

Did I mention the zombie-killing J-Rocker and the ex-crush?

Either way, drop on by and check out Jazz and Jess for some good zombie fun.

The Lady’s Murder by Eliza Frye I was lucky enough to stumble upon this comic when it was completed. A marvelous short story told using a heavy focus on visuals while using a traditional art style that really captures the eye. I’m not usually one for more artistic pieces, but this is a very well put together 32 pages.

The Lady’s Murder by Eliza Frye

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this comic when it was completed. A marvelous short story told using a heavy focus on visuals while using a traditional art style that really captures the eye. I’m not usually one for more artistic pieces, but this is a very well put together 32 pages.

But more than anything, I really enjoyed seeing something that had an ending. A nice change of pace from the (while still enjoyable) never ending daily strips. And personally, I think this story would make a great book. The pages just scream to be given proper attention and held in someone’s hands.

Do check it out if you’ve got some free time.
