And we’re down to the 3rd place winners of the Pair-A-Thon! This is Lizzie’s request – she wanted some Repo! The Genetic Opera cosplay. She gave me two options and I went with the second! Janus & Arthur as the Largo siblings Luigi and Pavi respectively.

Yes, Janus stole Arthur’s coat for the costume. She wasn’t digging the pin-stripe suit Luigi owned. And if you recognize the skin color on Arthur’s stolen face – you’ll realize he didn’t get it from any woman. XD Not that the person he got it from hasn’t been mistaken for a woman. Repeatedly.

I had fun with this request and I hope you love it Lizzie!

In other news – if any of you were still waiting on an update for the whole my car got totaled and I needed a replacement thing:

Roy (A very lovely Scion tC that has now been totaled beyond repair) has been replaced.

The car I chose was not a decision I made lightly as it pushes my budget  but you know what? The crash made me realize something…I only get to live once. I know, I know -you hear that from everyone and they always say the same thing but I really don’t think it ever really hits you as true until you know- just something happens that leaves you in shock and standing on the side of the road still shaking a good twenty  minutes after the crash thanking God every few seconds that you’re fine. So I went for the car I really wanted and if it means I have to eat out less and say no to that next figurine I would love on my shelf – so be it.

Because I now own a Camaro named Roy II. And it’s worth it.

On a semi-related note – never get a traffic ticket. Your car insurance sky rockets and you resort to telling your readers to please recommend WaM to your friends so she can actually start making money off those pretty banners on the side of the screen and make up the price difference.

Today’s strip was fun~ I think mostly because I finished on time for once. XD Huzzah!

Hmm. In other news – added a new comic to the Links page: Tamuran. The Artist for the comic gave me a Llama at DA and I was drawn in by the art style~ (And turns out he was linking to WaM the whole time. XD). Anyway – got all caught up reading it today and you guys should check it out~

What else, what else? Oh yeah – I’ve now made it through the fifth and sixth Elm Street movies. Five was pretty bad (Greta’s death = just disgusting) and its only saving grace was I like Alice (the main girl.) The sixth movie just went the way of Gremlins’ 2 and if this isn’t a flat out comedy I don’t know what it was. XD But it made me laugh so it’s all good.

Edit: Just finished the 7th film : New Nightmare. Very, very good. Especially if you’ve seen the first film. Nancy is so hard core. Now all I’ve got left is Freddy vs Jason and I’m done~

Well, the Freddy-thon continues and I’ve now seen the 4th Elm Street movie. I think this one hit the nail for just the right amount of Freddy-talking. I enjoyed most of the movie and there was only one death that got me to squirm a bit.  So, yeah!

Um, I still love Hnæf and Sedrick? And Arthur’s bro-complex needs a leash, like seriously.

Anyway. Got through A Nightmare on Elm Street Part Three: Dream Warriors. Pretty good; but I can definitely see the progression of ridiculousness.

Go see that freaking movie. It’s amazing and I love it and *squee* Hiccup & Toothless had more on screen chemistry than just about any pair of anything in a long time. And the effects/scenery were more enjoyable to watch than Avatar. “Flight Scene” – that is all. Not to mention it’s the first time I’ve seen a kids movie where there were permanent consequences to the character’s actions.  Just. Go see it. Now~ I’m tempted to go see it again. XD

And Arthur would like to remind you all that he does not have a brother complex of any size, shape or sort. Not at all. Zip. None.

So, I hear the line from the new A Nightmare on Elm Street trailer where Freddy/Rorschach says “Why are you screaming? I haven’t even cut you yet.” and I kinda for the first time wanted to see a horror film. Believe it or not but I don’t usually handle movie gore very well so I’ve tended to stay away from the horror genre.

But I really wanna see this movie. So I’ve been prepping myself! I’m working my way through the Freddy movies and I’ve knocked out the first two. Little bothered here and there but that wonderful thing called culture shock helped it from being too scary. XD Wish me luck moving down the list!

On an unrelated note – today’s strip finally bothers me. Having now drawn ductwork (once or twice – I’m in the Electrical section gosh darn it!) into floor plans it occurs to me just how unrealistic these vents are. But I like the idea of Hnæf hanging out in them so much I don’t care. Hurrah!
