You can see how far I got on today’s WaM. Between spending all morning with dad and all afternoon with mom (and bro) I’m exhausted. Didn’t help that the time I did have to spend on WaM, well. It didn’t want to go onto the screen. At all.

So yeah…had to leave work early due to power outages. Normally this would be a good thing but we had two jobs due out today that I couldn’t work on and will have to make up tomorrow morning. Add in the weather and I basically had no motivation to do anything…

That’s not really an excuse considering I had more free time than usual but I was reading fanfiction.

In other news, I am a total coward. XD I was at an anime convention all weekend and had a stack of business cards for WaM. Two whole days and I didn’t gather the courage to pass out a single one. I am a loser. *sighs* At least I talked to more people this time than I usually do…even if I didn’t manage to get out the “hey! I do a comic!” line.

But I digress.

Okay. Fine. You dragged it from me – I’m getting a kitty!!!! Ever since my previous cat passed on (Bless her) the house has been far too empty. Well, a friend set it up so that we can adopt a cat from a family that can no longer keep her. So hopefully in a week they’ll be the pitter patter or new little paws running about.

So, when I was growing up as a spry 12-14 year old I was a huge Beast Wars fan. However, I stopped watching when the second series started -Beast Machines. There were various reasons and none of which I can remember.

So, after a recent run of rewatching all three seasons of Beast Wars – I figured I owed it to the storyline to force myself through Beast Machines.

That series is trippy. Man. I can’t imagine watching that thing as a kid; it’s intense, deep and weird. XD

However, the Vehicons make me ridiculously happy. Happy enough to sit through the horrible techno-organic plotline….thing. The Spark Storyline with Megatron is far more interesting.

And I love Jetstorm. I love him so much. T_T So very much.

You may be wondering why WAM is a half-finished sketch with dialogue until further in the day/Saturday.

Writer’s block sucks. Today’s comic gave me all sorts of trouble and it was well after 11:30PM before I figured out what to do with it.

And why? Because I didn’t go with my gut instinct. Last Wed. after I wrote Pa Driver’s lines, I thought it would be fun to take his dancing line literally.

Today I went “Nah, that’s no good.” and wound up in circles and ideas that didn’t work until around 11:30 where I said “Screw it. I’m going with my gut.”

And you get Pa Driver dipping & spinning Wiglaf.
