I had something clever I was gonna say, but I forgot it in my puzzlement….. And the idea of such an evil insane woman being so June Cleaver-ish and baking cookies is hilarious. ‘Specially is she’s doing in in only an apron. xD
I had the same idea about the state of her dress, but that extra line above her cleavage looks suspiciously like a neckline. Geoffry might be safe– looks like Mummy is in a good mood today.
I personally think the nekkidness is way more evil towards a guy than anything else – especially if he’s litteraly on a chain and can’t reach said nekkidness XD
Ya know…I think Geoffry may have found a way to escape years ago…he just can’t bring himself to do it. :]

yes, but I get the strange feeling that when someone set’s up a scene as obvious as that, there has to be SOMETHING unexpected that the author has to say “Gotcha!”. :sly:

XD I don’t know why, but Janus doing something so housewife-y and domestic just cracks me up. It doesn’t seem RIGHT, which is why it’s so damn funny….
If this is what kind of mother Janus is, I can’t help but wonder what kind of dad Arthur would be. We’ve already seen what kind of big brother he is…(the overprotective doting kind) but what kind of Dad would he be? 7_7 What would he name his kid? (Like, what if it was a girl? What if it was a boy? Just wondering.)
Personally, I love how Geoffry just kinda says “Shame the chain doesn’t reach all the way into the kitchen.” He’s so used to it by now that he really seems to take the chain as a matter of course.
This does beg the question, if he is chained inside his house what does he do all day? He can’t cook, can’t get snacks, can’t eat lunch…..does he have Safir or someone run all his errands for him? Poor guy.

You know, after this strip something somewhat odd occurred to me. Geoffry being so blase about the situation he’s in may make him the craziest member of the cast. And yet he’s so normal and composed. Its a fun contrast =)

It does look like she’s wearing some sort of cami top under the apron, but not much else. I think she’s supposed to be wearing khaki pants, but the pant’s color is the same as her skin-tone so it looks like she’s not wearing any.
