After all that Hnaef’s brother has seen, I guess a guy hugging and talking to air seems pretty commonplace.
Actually, that’s Julian, Mordred’s neighbor. Gotta admire his poker face.

Actually, my first thought was, “What’s Hnaef or his Brother doing there?” Then I realized it was Julian, so you’re not alone..”

Now I’m wondering if Julian is somehow related to Hnaef and Hildiburh. Sedrick adopted them right? so this guy could conceivably be related if we’re looking at things through skewed glasses… we’re talking thick, blurry, possibly brown or green bottle lenses glasses…
Still, its a fun idea. this guy could be a long lost older sibling (or a parent… hard to tell his age…) or a cousin or something…
Just how often has Julian been in Mordred’s house to see something weirder than a guy hugging air?

That’s because he can touch Éclat, so while it looks like he’s hugging air to everyone else, for him he’s hugging a physical being.
So cute.

Am I the only one wondering what weirder things Julian might have seen?
I think that most people would consider casually wearing chainmail to be strange. Also, I’m sure at least one of Lancelot’s creations has managed to terrorize Mordred’s neighbors.
I consider sentient plants stranger than joyfully reuniting with a sword and hugging the air.
Ah, the great return of Julian. I was wondering when we’d see him again. The comic needs a few normal people here and there to balance out the wackiness. XD
Please, there’s no one normal here. Julian’s going to end up being the one who originally made the artifacts or something crazy.
Hooray, we get Julian back in the story and we get Benjamin reunited with his artifact! Ben’s lunge for Eclat is great, and so is Julian’s nonchalant reaction. XD
I don’t know whether Éclat is actually worried about Ben, or if he’s being odd. Either way, it reads out as kind of sweet.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWW!!!! It’s so cute!!! an extremely unhealthy addiction, but adorable like a puppy none the less.
I love Mordred’s reaction, “…Yes” instead of trying to explain. It’s just so Mordred.
So I officially ship Eclat and Ben. More one sided Eclat and withdraw Ben, but still.
