He Only Needs One

How dare they doubt Wiglaf! He probably doesn’t even need the bucket of water.

Speaking, the bucket/water joke is brought to you by my brother who is home for Thanksgiving break.

I’ve also been informed by people on the ustream that this cliffhanger makes awful–possibly. We’ll see how that goes.

Um. Enjoy the wait folks! XD Mwa ha ha ha ha.

*sits back and waits for comments and theories*

…I got nothing. I’ve been listening to lyric-less soundtracks for like a week. XD

No, it’s the fact that we have to wait till Wednesday that makes it awful XD That’s soo long.

And Sedrick, your death wish is getting larger by the second.

Heh, wouldn’t it be hilarious if the reason that Mordred is the spoiled third child of the family is because he takes a little TOO much after his Dad?

Taking after his Dad in the performing unspeakable acts of violence on the offenders. The kind Hnaef is only supposed to read about later, not watch happen onscreen.

:P

That said… cliffhangers like this make me sad, but things have just gotten interesting.

That’s… A very interesting theory, actually. You could be right. Like Sybarite says, he only seems to be rather irritated at the fact that a rather large, sharp bit of metal is now lodged in his back, rather than in screaming agony like most would be.

…I rather hope you’re right. That’d make Wednesday QUITE the interesting day… -smirk-

I hope that Mordred will give us all a surprise, Maybe he will take after his father~ I can’t wait for Wednesday….but Knowing Lily they’re might be a chance that she’ll do a pin up instead for thanksgiving instead of the next part

Reply

I might die of anticipation if she does that to us; I want to know if this theory is true. It would be awesome if he actually is like his father. I can totally see him beating the crud out of Sedrick for this inconvenience….

Then acting like nothing really happened when his darling Lackey and his family returns and being bored. XD

Reply

…I have just realized how short Sedrick is. Mordred’s elbow is right in his face.

Reply

Feels like artistic freedom to me. I don’t think Sedrick is truly that much shorter than Mordred. Then, I could be wrong.

Reply

Sedrick is really short. He’s about the same height as Hnæf, which is a good head and some shorter than Mordred and Arthur. (Top of Sedrick’s head reaches Arthur’s shoulder.)

Reply

Mordred verses Sedrick? While wishful thinking requires I hope Mordred wins, I can’t help but feel that he’s dogfood…

Reply

Everybody seems to think that Mordred will do something unexpected…

That would be so awesome, but it would be equally cool if Wiglaf came back for another bucket of water and saw that.

Or if Arthur showed up.

If Mordred dosen’t pull off crouching moron, hidden badass, I call security saving him.
Also, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA NOOOOOO MORDEEEED

Reply

Considering how Mordred tricked everyone in the comic at least into think he didn’t know his “Lackey” was Wiglaf the hero, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had been hiding his true abilities from the very beginning.

But Security will probably save him; if he doesn’t then who will he do the nails of? X3

Reply

On one hand security is one of the few people in the vincinity who is unoccupied. He’s also saved Hnaef this arc already.
On the other hand, if Mordred pulls off a sucessful counterattack against Sedrick, THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. Also some stuff about a change in relationship dynamic, blah blah blah.

oh dear a bucket
how 100d xD

That was the first thing I thought, too. xD;;
Too much homestuck, man. Too much.

Reply

Apparently it was more of a mine craft joke (I think) since in Minecraft you can empty a bucket of water and, it’s full a again. Minecraft physics, or lack there of XD

Reply

Oh thank jegus, another Homestuck fan to share in my horror at that… that… *shudder* Really, Wiglaf, what were you thinking! Try to be more understanding towards alien culture!

Reply

NOOOOOO! Poor Mordred. Come on, show you’re not actually the least powerful; of the Garrott family! You gotta be able to do something!

Reply

aaand this theory is the worst.

Mordred stares in shock at the knife, then falls over, DEAD. Sedrick pulls back and smiles, but then realizes that he’s gone much too far this time and says, “Oh- oh my holy father, WHAT have I DONE?!?!?!?” then he falls to the floor, weeping.
And that would be the end of Wiglaf and Mordred.

H-how terrible!!! That couldn’t possibly happen!!!! *sob sob* (sit and creepily stares at screen until Wednesday update.)

Reply

it IS kind of strange Mordred looks annoyed rather than pained. “you’ve sliced my spleen, how rude!”

GAH! liliy, get this arc in print!!

Reply

Yup, he does seem annoyed at being stabbed. Such an inconvenience, and the dry cleaning plus tailoring bills, sheesh.

Is it just me or has everybody forgotten everyone’s favorite magic marble? So far all we know is she can float, Negate all magical effects within a set radius, interact with material objects (see shirt episode) is VERY protective of her master, thinks Wig is cute but annoying , errr … did I miss anything? Oh, right, threatened to incinerate somebody at one point …..

So I wonder what her reaction to the making of a leaky hole in her master will result in?
Now THAT is something I want to see … plus Mordred will still not have to bother to do anything for himself. ;)

Reply

I asked liliy about this during the stream, her reply- “Bliss is flaky” We figure she’s probably upstairs admiring the pretty flames XD

I had thought of that too, why can’t she just come and pick up Mordred to hold him out of Sedrick’s reach. (Of course, then Sedrick might pull out a gun…)

Reply

wow… I completly forgot about Bliss’es very existence…. Aw man it is going to be Bliss that rescues him, isn’t it? …..

Reply

I personally have Bliss attacking Sedrick on the top of my list of ‘Things that I want to happen’.

Reply

I’m still waiting for Lackey to smash down a wall and rescue Mordred. That’s at the top of this desperate fangirl’s list. Also:

NOOOOMORDREDAAAHOWCOULDYOUSEDRECK

-cough- funny cold that’s going around, hmmm?

Reply

So, the difference between the US/UK and Sweden, according to this comic: Yanks/Brits wait around and let the hero do the saving, where Swedes jump in to help.

Or maybe this is just something peculiar to Wiglaf’s family, showing where he got the hero traits. Which bypassed Brat.

Sedrick really likes taking out organs in the kidney area, doesn’t he? That makes two in the frequent characters alone, this arc!

Reply

Everyone should have listened to Wiglaf and stayed inside. Also, it’s kind of interesting that Mordred seems more annoyed than pained by Sedrick’s stab. Maybe he knows that Wiglaf or someone else is coming to fix things for him, or maybe Wiglaf taught him some methods of self-protection we don’t know about yet.
