Someone please reassure me that this arc will not end with a new peice in the set. I mean, I know that Vil (stealthy jab at his denial intended) is the only one that wants it… But it scares me nonetheless.
Yeah Mordred as a Weapon? He’d be worse then Grace in making his person a total nut case.

I asked liliy during a stream session once and she said he’d likely be a book xD

I can see that actually. Mordred as a book with the power of Apathy. If the owner has the book open, no living being will notice him. So, makes -other- people stop caring. That would be kind of cool…

I just had a random thought of a total crack pairing because of Mordred. Vilhelm/Lancelot? Like Fruits Basket style!
(Mitsuru the editor and Ritsu were having a panic attack directed at Shigure at the same time and suddenly realized how similar they were. The next time they appeared together, they were dating.)
I guess Vilhelm must have explained his plot at some point offscreen, because I don’t recall Mordred finding out about either the way artifacts are created or any cult.
Here’s my theory:
Vilhelm will manage to turn Mordred into an artifact but then Wiglaf will become artifact!Mordred’s owner and the two will be closer than ever because of the whole artifact/owner relationship. Vilhelm will disapprove most strenuously of this, causing him to decide to turn Mordred back into a human. Then everyone will then know that artifacts can be returned to their human states and shenanigans will ensue, of course.
I don’t know… Vilhelm can’t not know that this will only earn him the ire of Arthur Sr. aka the most dangerous man in the world. Maybe this is all an elaborate plan to catch Arthur Sr. and make him the new item in the set.
