Security is not magic just technologically advanced.
To someone not in the know, technology seems like magic. eg. how something as heavy as a plane can even get off the ground. Or nuclear fission. Even microwaves. You put frozen stuff in and it comes out hot.

Horatio Moment? On the humor side, any time he’s playing off of Mordred (his entrance and the insult contest) is highly entertaining. I particularly like the insult contest between the two of him.
For more of a dramatic moment, I appreciated his acceptance of his behavior in the “He’s Not Joking” strip. In fact, the whole strip was very good. It served as character a character snapshot for 4 different characters, and it was nice to see Horatio actually accept what he had been doing. Most of the other characters in the strip would have denied it or stabbed someone. Sets Horatio apart some.

I have a feeling he will continue to be enigmatic. We might never know if Lily doesn’t want us to. :curious:
You’re supposing that there is something to know. That is not guaranteed to be the case, I think he works better as a character-device if there isn’t a reason for it personally.
I’m… *counts* 15th person to say that the moment with Safir is my favourite. Adorable and fun at the same time.
And I love the expressions in the last panel of today’s comic.

I also like the part where Geoffrey asks why he didn’t realize Horatio even noticed Viola before. “Uh…there was that one time…and then…certainly you remember…that one time…” I liked that moment a lot, too.
I felt very much like I was reading a line coming from the microsoft paper clip guy for that last panel. =D
Wait a sec… Something is very odd in this picture… WHY IS BEN SHOCKED AT SECURITY’S APPEARANCE? Whenever security shows up, he just seems to fit into the conversation no matter what was going on. Is his mysterious power suddenly failing???!!! Oh Noes!!!

He’s never been totally accepted. XD He freaked out Hnæf & Sedrick on first appearances…
Security is back and he just happened to pop into a locked room with a large number of “usually” observant and highly dangerous people outside.
Is it just me or is Security some sort of holographic avatar from some sort of world encompassing cybernetic system like maybe sky-net?

Spend enough time around geekdom and eventually someone will talk your ear off about the doctor. I have to admit it’s a great overachiever for the lowest budget thing the BBC ever did, but it’s not my cup of tea.

That boss being the father of Safir and captive husband of Janus, whom I recently mistook for Horatio because I’m getting old.
I loved when Horatio mistook Arthur for Janus and immediately confronted him about Geoffry. That was great. XD
Oh boy, Security has inserted himself into the story again. ^_^ I’ll look forward to seeing what he does to move the plot. I wonder what Ben and Eclat are going to say about someone who popped into their vicinity out of thin air. XD
