From 9/29 to 10/3 yours truly is on Vacation in Disney World in good ol’ Florida with her good buddy ‘Jay. And I’m not bringing my computer with me gosh darn it. *_* I need a break from this thing. *totally ignoring her DroidX is basically a computer* This means – no Ustream Thursday night and no WaM on Friday. I’m not getting home on Sunday until well after 6PM so we’ll see if I do a late night Ustream or not for Sunday’s WaM. I’ll let you all know on Twitter if that happens. :)
And I may or may not be tweeting my adventures at Disney…depends if anyone cares or not. XD

Well, he is the Angel of Death. And that’s one easy way to make sure that Death is his only hobby. Also answers why he looks so girly. But what’s Mordred’s excuse?

Considering the alternatives I’d say him becoming a passive, bitter and bitchy guy with deep wells of resentment is not the worst that could’ve happened. Others that have such happen to them can become deranged serial killers. (That last may have been something his parents were hoping for?)

They created the near perfect foil to a hero like Wiglaf. Allowing their other children more freedom from the heroes of the world.

Also, I dare to suppose it happened quite early in his teenhood as well, since he doesn’t seems too fazed about not “feeling” anything. (I read it as “doesn’t miss the excitement”). Testosterone suppliments can only do so much, after all.

That’s a cruel and unnecessary thing to do, Lilly. Even more so then normal.
You seem to have forgotten that this entire story has as its main plot element the Garrott family. This family is an institution of murderous assholes who’ve apparently carved out a niche for themselves as modern warlords using impressive brutality and fantastic means.
So why aren’t you expecting unnecessary cruelty? Heh.

I’m reading this as later removal of the testicles rather than the penis and all, since Gen apparently knows Azrael’s male (well aware, even) makes me think there’s… evidence of masculinity.
Granted, I can’t remember what differences physically men who were castrated young have from those castrated older, besides having very long limbs, so.
Interesting… Liliy will need to explain how this happened… he got Grace before he was able to have said “feelings”, and Grace provides magical protections…

Just reviewing the archives and I thought of something. If the girls are the ones to always patch him up…wouldn’t they have noticed he’s castrated? I mean it would stand to reason, whether or not he was injuried in the groin, his underthings could be severely blood soak, thus calling for removal of said clothing. Right? And if he’s unconcious at the time…

You’re right, there was that one time early on when he woke up naked and shackled to the bed without Grace.
Of course,*if* Azzie is being truthful, he may have had implants put in during the procedure. After all, pedigree dogs get them so there have to be plenty of men who’ve had injuries and survived cancer will have them too.

Even though likely nothing will ever happen, I can’t stop shipping characters in this comic… I really can’t… I hope you don’t mind, Lily, o’ giver of amazing comics! *can’t… stop….* I will love however it pans out, including if it doesn’t, so it will just stay in my little fantasy land… (and in some of the fanart I see here! But Azzie’s calm reaction to Grace & Gen’s freakout has nudged him up above Wiglaf as my favorite character. I’m in shock!
I am not the esteemed creator (creatrice? creatrix?) but it’s a pretty safe bet that she would absolutely not be offended by shipping her characters–as long as you don’t threaten or whine at her to change her plot or characters.
*laughs* Now whining would be horrible. I honestly never know where Lily goes with these plots; so it’s always interesting. :D

In honor of the missing Artist, let us comment on what should have happened today and Sunday.
The Sisters spend the next two strips redecorating Generic’s apartment into a new hideout while Generic protests and Azzie points out the foolishness of protesting to three very deadly women backed up by a very deadly guy.
He’s gotta get a new source of scratch, to pay for all the research needs, chemistry supplies and other operating expenses. The opportunities are endless, ranging from Azrael in a paper hat murdering all the customers of a fast food joint he was hired at on outwards to even stranger things.
Maybe Azrael could get a reality TV show on cable, sort of like Mike Rowe in Dirty Jobs, only it would be Azrael in “Deadly Jobs” :lol2:
