We like your stuff, we like it!

Also, Hnaef possibly deciding to turn against Sedrick? :gasp:

Just because we’re not commenting doesn’t mean we don’t love you or your stuff. I, personally, don’t find this arc very interesting, so I’m not commenting. I apologize.

Those are BOTH good questions…

The obvious answer to the first is that going to get Geoffrey would be what people would expect Janus to do.

…um, wait. I’m not sure I want to go on record of saying that, given that while it’s been discussed that Janus is pretty evil, we’ve yet to see her actually get her hands dirty. Until I see her in action a bit judging her full character is NOT something I want to be doing.

The second question, though… Hnaef not reporting to Sedrick? I could understand if Geoffrey’s just out of the loop, but if Hnaef’s brother is asking the same question… hm.

We don’t really know the circumstances behind this “Adoption” business… all we really know is that at some point Hnaef wanted to join Arthur and Sedrick (via that flashback a while back)… And I don’t really think Hnaef’s ever really LIKED Sedrick very much in all the time we’ve seen him on-screen. He seems to get more and more frusterated with Sedrick every time Sedrick threatens him.

This is just speculation, feel free to ignore me!

Although the REAL question on my mind is what Hnaef’s “brother” is gonna do about it.

Aw was hoping for epic Geoffry moment but ah well. I’m sure we’ll get it eventually I mean he did punch Security in one of the first pages he was in xD

I love your stuff and I love commenting. If I don’t comment, it’s usually because my brain is busted and I can’t think of anything interesting to contribute. XD I hate it when my mind comes up blank. XD

This puzzle is really cool, with all the new questions being raised. How did Janue escape and why didn’t Hnaef report it? Also, it’s possible that Mr. Garrott isn’t telling the truth. He might just be trying to distract Geoffry and throw him off the trail. In that case, Hnaef wouldn’t have had anything to report at all. If we assume that Mr. Garrott is telling the truth, then we really want to know where Janus is now. Maybe she’s already preparing a rebellion against Sedrick. Of course, she’d need to rally her loyal followers to do that, and since she’s not a very popular person, that could take a lot of work.

I suspect that because Janus is the selfish type (like most villains), her failure to come rescue Geoffry is fairly self-explanatory. She looks out for number one first and foremost, after all. XD

I can’t agree with that.
While she is quite evil person she was shown to be a doting mother, and despite how bizarre the entire situation is, quite in love with her husband.

Reply

Possibly because Geoffry and Safir, no matter how deep in goo now, are still better off than in the midst of a rebellion?

There’s so many holes in that logic, but there is in most.

Reply

“Doting mother”? Refresh my memory as to where that is, please. I remember her being a jealous/competitive sister and a lustful wife-type person, and I remember her being a passable-for-sheer-territoriality sort-of mother, but not this “doting” thing whereof you speak.

I don’t usually have much to say. I just like to watch.
I think Sedrick is going to be overthrown by the boys. Teenage rebellion, stuff like that.

we love you we love you we love you we love you we love you! We promise!

I, for one, am simply waiting in breathless, wordless anticipation of what happens next. Or that’s my excuse, anyhow. *nodnod*

I follow the comic fanatically.

That is, hiding in the basement with insane ranting and explosives. Explosives are always a good thing.

When I become an old man, I will fervently attempt to be like Arthur Snr. in all ways especcialy beard.
=D

I heartily agrre on that front … well except for the beard thing …. I really hope I don’t have the genes for facial hair in latter life.
[ Which one is grandma? The one with the beard >_< ]

I haven’t commented in the past mostly because I haven’t been able to come up with a catchy handle >.>

But we love you! And think you’re awesome! :D

I can’t really decide how I feel about this arc. I’ve generally been a moderate Sedrick fan, mostly just because of how effective at getting stuff done he is, though his relationship with Arthur the younger generally made me cringe. I’m EXTREMELY interested to see where it all goes from here.

Also, clearly you can make us all feel guilty simply by mentioning there haven’t been as many comments lately

I mostly lurk here, but i am still thoroughly enjoying this arc! I’m so happy the characters have been taken out of their normal element and flipped around. Sederick taking charge, Arthur and Janus in trouble, Geoffry free, Wiglaf having to get serious and Mordred–well i’m not sure he’s been affected much, but still! Top notch :)

*loves you* I just normally check at night, when my roommate is asleep and I don’t type so i won’t wake her up.

Poor Geoffry. He never wins anything.

Sorry I usually check during the afternoon’s I have school in the morning and it doesn’t end till 11am. But anyways your drawings have improved so much over the years~ I’m really excited to see this story continue for another few years~! ^w^ Lotsa Love~

~19 comments about Liliy’s whining about not seeing any comments… “All right kids, what did we learn today?” “Whining gets you what you want, especially if you’re popular” :P

Reply

Only if you are popular and cute …. but whine too much and you will get a following of trolls snarking on everything you say and do …. reference: sad Girl in Snow :P

Are you kidding? We love you and your comic. I check it first thing most mornings when it updates and then read it a few more times after. I’m just not very good with the comments… usually someone else has already said what I want to in better words.

I really do like reading the comments to see what others think about the comic. Also.. I have a bad habit of saying something stupid when I DO comment… like… seriously…

Anyways, I’m totally loving this arc, I’ve adored Hanef since I started reading WaM, though I want to see what happens if/when Azrael and the Valkeries find out, and also, what happened to all of the other ‘big name’ employees (Driver’s dad for example.)

Also, need more doritos… too busy getting those to post comments when I’m so much better at lurking :3

Reply

That is not such a bad habit if done with tongue firmly in cheek. You know it makes the comments thread just that more interesting.

I’m pretty sure that since Azrael quit, the Valkeries might have as well (or at least gone on an extended vacation). Therefore Sedrick no longer really gives a damn aboud Azzie (as long as he doesn’t get in the way/ is seen as a useful tool), and ignores the Vakeries as useless until they get over Azrael’s haircut and new ‘job’. As for Driver’s dad, he works for Arthur Snr. directly, and I’m amsuming that Sedrick doesn’t think he’s worth it. I mean he obviously has the balls to mess with Madame Garrott directly, so he probably wouldn’t hesitate to screw with Arthur Snr. I’m asuming he doesn’t consider Alester to be useful/ a threat/ amusing to kill, to go after
Then again if he thinks that, he may fall into the idiot category after all. I’m an Alester fan, I mean he’s sarcastic and blunt, not to mention violent AND hot

@ Liliy
By the way I love the comic, and have been reading for ages. However I have a lurker’s habit of wanting to comment but feeling too self-concieuss. I also find it ironic that as soon as you complain of neglect we come pouring out of the woodwork to sooth your bruised ego. =p
Also I demand more Ben, Eclât, Azrael, Grace, Mordred, Bliss, and anything else to do with the magical object group. It would also be cool if one of their abilities was to let the possessor see and hear the other items, ’cause that would be awesome. Not only do they have to put up with their own, but all the others too. Although have the confusion of only hearing one side of a 3 part argument (Bliss, Grace, and Eclât) is hilarious too. It’s just a thought, and I’m just tossing around my thoughts on what some of the other objects might do. Maybe Bliss knows, and we’ll find out if Modred has the patience to keep on listening to her =p

maybe if they turned an expert translator that’s fluent in lots of languages into an artifact, they’d become said artifact…

Like most of the others, I like WaM and read it regularly (read: every scheduled update) and I comment when I have something to say.

Reply

This arc has been so impossible to predict and so mind blowing as to be difficult to comment on. I’ve been loving all the Sweden scenes. :D

Reply

And this lady will attest to the fact that I never comment, even though I have been a devout follower since the beginning of this arch.

Reply

I love your stuff. I just don’t comment. Don’t think we don’t love it just because we don’t comment :-D

Reply

Just because I don’t comment doesn’t mean that I don’t love WaM, I await every update with bated breath! :D

Reply

when Geoffry says “shot gun wedding” with quotations, does he mean that he was married while being at gunpoint with a shotgun ?

Reply

Yeah, I’m not really liking the stuff lately… I LOVE IT. I speed over to my computer right after school on Wednesdays and Fridays and first thing in the mornings on Sundays. The only times I miss a day (like this) is when my sad attempt at a social life interferes or I’m busy with something else.
Really, the only reason I’m not commenting as much lately is because the comic is so good I’m having trouble coming up with a witty response, and I don’t want to just leave a boring comment like “I love this strip, good job!” on every single update. Plus I don’t comment very much to begin with, I prefer to just read and enjoy the comic.
We love you, stay awesome!

Liliy, this shows how truly devoted your fans are to you. If you question our ability to comment we will give you comments in abundance.
