I love how you always think one of them is just dumb untill you find out they arent. At first it seemed that Wiglaf was just stupid. Then we found out he was pulling the wool over Mordreds eyes… then we find out that he wasnt! Oooh the intregue. :3
Also, you’ll notice that Mordred also revealed that he knew that Driver was reporting to Arthur, possibly that the double agent is actually a triple agent.
Not only does Mordred know who Wiglaf is, but he also knows Arthur is keeping tabs on him through Driver! Given that Mordred is now shown to be clever and resourceful, how come he doesn’t succeed on more jobs?
Maybe he does succeed at a few, and he just covers his tracks well? It would solve how he’s paying for that apartment. A few robberies on the side, kept secret in case he needs a little untraceable extra money…
I love going back through the comics after we find out Mordred knows (and probably knew all along). It adds a little more to the comics like the fact that Mordred is an excellent actor.
