Ok. This is going to end hilariously or very, very badly. I sense that Gawain might not be the only one missing some limbs by the time all’s said and done.
If he succeeds its going to be only by fortuitous grace of a great deity of luck. Of course, it doesn’t take much to imagine the whimsical bastard stumbling into mountains of riches, so maybe he has it.

Personally I think your sentence flows better with “bastard” rather than “egomaniac.”
Anyways, we all know that Mordred is actually a pretty high level combatant, he held his own against Sedrick after all, so I’m pretty sure he’s perfectly capable of doing to Lancelot what his old man did to Gawain.

Yes, it certainly flows better with bastard, but I feel egomaniac is more accurate to Lance’s character.
The only reason he has any hope in his endeavors is because Arthur Garrot is retired. Sir Boasts-alot is royally screwed, and not by Lady Gawain.
