Touch Goes Both Ways

Ha ha. Azzie-boy’s not happy, Grace. Not happy at all. XD

Yeah, I’ll finish the strip later. I’m uh, honestly? I’m just being lazy. And my bed is calling me. It is a sweet, sweet siren of chilled blankets…so yeah. Laziness and sleep equal no inking or coloring.

Which is NOT the case over at True Magic! They’re having a bit of a computer crisis right now, so if you can give them a hand, I’m sure both them and all their fans eager for the next page (me) will appreciate it. :D

Aw, poor Azzie, or poor Grace… I feel a little conflicted here… serial killer, or serial killer’s pet serial killer (I’ll leave it to you to decide who’s who :P)… picking sides is hard.

I feel the same way. I feel bad for both of them even though technically Azzie is the only one who was wronged and Grace deserved it… I love them both~ *snuggles*

Good to know that they can still feel pain. For behavioral modification, of course. Not amusing torture; that would be wrong.

Think of the poor rings: how many times a day do you jar your fingers and not really notice it? The rings would feel it every time, and if you had to use a sword or deliberately hit something (making a point in a meeting, or making a point in a fight), they would be in agony.

And then, of course, there are the chronic fidgeters who constantly twist their rings. Having one of these people would be a great way to break that habit, but making them feel it every time is practically wanton cruelty!

I guess it is a good thing Ben is not a knight or someone who punctuates sentences by rapping the floor with his weapon.
…Although with Eclat’s power that habit would be quickly broken.

Twisting the ring around their fingers. Can you imagine the two ring spirits just going around and around in circles. woooohh, wooooooh, woooooooooohhhh. Ughh dizzyness back to bed

I know my rings are all scratched up from work. One was even eaten by the dog! (who is perfectly fine, he barfed it up no prob)

Huh. Is this relationship abusive now?

Regardless, I think it’s kind of interesting that Grace can get hurt by being slammed against a wall. You’d think that being used in a fight would hurt more than that.

Speaking of which, it looks like Azrael is pretty strong even without Grace’s trick.

Nah, it’s not all that hard to crack/put a hole in dry-wall. XD You can damage that pretty easily.

He caused physical pain to someone whose body is made out of metal.

Pretty impressive in my books.

Huh. There’s a good tangent. Given Grace’s trick, if Azrael’s opponent is Grace, what’s Azrael’s power level? Can Grace reduce Azrael’s power level below Azrael’s natural power level at all, or only add to it?

The recursive question is making my brain hurt this early in the morning.

Poor Driver. Another thing she has to look forward to fixing, since Wiglaf is out of working commission for the time being.

Huh… I think by the looks of it, to injure the ‘artifacts’ would require them to be hit specifically with intent to injure, in certain locations no less, correct? Like, the sword blade probably means nothing, but the hilt being smashed hurts.
