I thought that boxed cake mix usually included a separate packet for the icing. Well, so long as the cake is a type that is usually served with icing, like Mudcake, admittedly. So if they bought a fruitcake or some other cake that usually doesn’t get served with icing, that would be a reason for the exception.
That’s interesting! Almost all the boxed cake mixes I’ve gotten don’t come with icing. You have to buy it separately in a little plastic tub. Lol.
