Bio: Paired with his owner, Benjamin, Éclat is an artifact who knows how to appreciate the finer things.

When he was alive, Éclat was born to a prostitute during the French Revolution, and due to various issues has evolved a great hatred of women. He often finds it his purpose in life to defend Benjamin from them, whether “Puppet” likes it or not.

Éclat’s power involves turning inanimate objects into living, breathing creatures–but the results are always random ranging from field mice to giant mythical creatures. If the object already has magic of its own, the results can be…overwhelming.

All in all, Éclat is fairly laid back and prefers a good con over senseless slaughter and is rather fond of his meek owner.

Author Notes: Not even going to beat around the bush, Éclat was created so I had an excuse to introduce a certain other form for Camlann. Thankfully, he evolved into his own character and he’s become one of my favorites.

His name is a word derived from the French, which means a brilliant display or effect.
