Allen & Allen?

Allen and Allen

That is an awesome screenshot of Allen Walker with….his doppleganger! XD Ha ha; been rewatching D.Gray Man from the beginning and remembering what got me hooked in the first place.

Now I just need to actually sit down and watch season II. XD

Princess Tutu

Well, I just upgraded to WordPress 2.5 and what better way to celebrate than to give an anime review?

Well, not so much a review as a strong urging to go watch Princess Tutu.

If you:

  • Enjoy fairtales
  • Enjoy classical music
  • Enjoy ballet
  • Enjoy tragedies
  • Enjoy happy endings
  • Enjoy stories

Than you should watch Princess Tutu. No review I could give would possibly give this series justice. And like everyone else will warn you – do NOT be fooled by the title. Princess Tutu is a genuine work of art that even goes so far as to use the original choreography of the ballet that it references for when the characters dance.

But I will give you a few tips for watching Princess Tutu:

  1. Listen to everything Ms. Edel says. Every word that comes from her mouth is important.
  2. Do not be put off by random animals appearing as main characters- accept them without doubting. It will all make sense.
  3. Watch the entire 26 episodes. If you start to lose interest, push forward. It’ll be worth it.
  4. Have a great love of stories.

Now what are you waiting for? Go grab the box set just released and watch it while you can! You won’t be disappointed.

The Light and Dark - One of the best reasons to watch this series, right there!

Kaibutsu Oujou Ending

I can not seem to stop watching the Princess Resurection/Kaibutsu Oujou Ending.

It’s just so darn addictive. *_*

Anyway, downloaded this series for my brother, but he left before it finished so I figured I’d watch the first episode. I think I’m going to like the anime more than the manga, the art is cleaner for one.

And the ending is addictive. XD We’ll see how it goes.

Amatsuki Anime

I’ve been following the Amatsuki manga by Shinobu Takayama for quite some time now and have loved every minute of it. It has a great cast of characters, action, and a little mystery to it.

And! I just discovered that it’s going to be released as an anime this spring. And Jun Fukuyama is playing Toki! That’s just exciting. ^^ I really can’t wait for this to be released. I’ll fill you in the moment I see the first sign of a fansub. :)

And if you’re curious, Heihachi and Tsuyukusa are my favorite characters! I love them. ^^

KND: Final Episode

Well, I ended up watching the Final Episode/Finally of Kids Next Door – and it just finished.

Overall, it was pretty good.  Seeing all of the villains and characters from the series in one big scavenger hunt was great.

Better than that was seeing everyone grown up –

The fact that Number 3 is a serious tight lipped business woman makes sense and makes my day; the fact Number 4 went to Harvard and became a doctor is even better. (And his actor wasn’t bad looking either – which is great considering Number 4 Wallabee Beatles was always my favorite. It was the Australian Accent.)

But best of all: Number 3 and Number 4 got married. THEY GOT MARRIED!!!! *cheers and salutations* Mwa ha ha ha ha; I’m so happy.

I love it when the couples I support actually become canon. Number 2 marrying Number 5 was a bit of a let down, but it was all good. :D

And that’s my bit on the cartoon world.
